(607) Washing a bridge #3

What was really spectacular was when the scrubbing with the brushes was over and it was time for the firemen to wash with their hoses the big “Nihonbashi” signs on the top of the bridge. (For those wondering what is it that passes above, it is an elevated highway –yes, I don’t get why someone would do that to a famous landmark either).

After the hosing of the signs, three street sweepers made two passes for the final wash-down.
