(609) Colored coolness


Kakigori (かき氷) is perhaps the most characteristic flavor of the Japanese summer (and particularly of summer festivals): you turn the handle and out comes crushed ice…


…which you put in a glass already containing various colored syrups and then top it with even more syrup. And with a straw flattened on one end so it can work as a spoon.
