I think I've written before about "Fujiya", perhaps the most famous confectionery store in Japan -also one of the oldest: it was founded in 1910. This is their central building in Ginza...
...and on the ground floor, a store with their mascot, Peko-chan (ペコちゃん) welcoming customers.
