(1107) By "Tokyo"...


...a significant part of the world's population means this exact spot (which, incidentally, I'd like to take a better picture of, some day). It's a scramble crossing (in Japanese "sukuranburu kosaten/スクランブル交差点 ), that is, a crossing stopping all vehicular traffic at the same time and allowing pedestrians move even diagonally, it's in Shibuya, right next to JR's station, and it's considered the largest in the country. I'm not sure this is true but it certainly is the most famous.
