(1115) Quiet nights


Of course there are more technologically advances ways. But for most Japanese, the best way to get rid of mosquitoes during summer nights are good old mosquito coils, preferably in a ceramic "katori buta" (かとりぶた・蚊取り豚), that is "a pig that takes mosquitoes away", like the one in the center of the picture. 


Incidentally, the pig doesn't have to be a pig.
