This series of children's books is one of the most popular recently. The main character is detective Oshiri (Oshiri Tantei/おしり探偵) whose name translates to "detective ass" (or at least "detective butt") because, as you can see in the picture, his head is exactly what his name means. His catchphrase is "I smell trouble" (jiken no nioi ga shimasu/事件のにおいがします).
