(1411) Waving proudly


Except one summer many, many centuries ago, I never had any particular interest for fishing. Still, for some inexplicable reason, I'm very much moved by tairyou-bata (大漁旗), the brightly-colored flags Japanese fishermen use as talismans ("tairyou" means "big catch") or to let their family know from afar that they are bringing home lots of stuff.
