(1532) Often, their Japanese...


...is as weird as their English. Like here, for example: meibutsu (名物) is some area's famous product, the product that everyone visiting the area wants to taste or buy and that has been identified with the area. But the phrase "sekai no meibutsu nihon ryori"(世界之名物日本料理) means something like "Japanese cuisine, which is the whole world's famous product" (Not "Japanese cuisine that is famous all over the world" -that would have made sense.) In Ginza.
